Account Manager, ASAA

Description

TPG believes in the high school experience and how it positively shapes our next generation. It is our mission to support this cause by connecting its community to organizations and brands that share in this belief. TPG is currently looking for an experienced revenue-generating and innovative individual to drive the Alaska School Activities Association (ASAA) corporate partnership sales business.

Responsibilities:
  • Actively research and prospect new sales leads through cold calling, networking and current relationships
  • Build relationships with prospective clients while servicing current accounts to provide repeat business
  • Proactively create opportunities for new business with existing customers
  • Work within the TPG’s CRM system and maintain records of all accounts and prospects.
  • Meet or exceed individual sales goals and help the team achieve its overall yearly sales goals
  • Develop and present customized sponsorship advertising proposals that may include signage, radio, print, promotions and fan engagement strategies.
  • Managing inventory, including: coordinating with sales executives on inventory availability; supporting on client presentation materials, and managing towards seasonal and creative deadlines
  • Utilize client objectives and goals to develop and research promotional platforms and partnership strategies
  • Participate in game day events to share and highlight the high school sports experience with existing and potential sponsors
  • Conduct yourself in way that demonstrates a strong commitment to team collaboration and success

General Manager, NYSPHSAA Section VIII/Associate General Manager, NYSPHSAA

Description

TPG believes in the high school experience and how it positively shapes our next generation. It is our mission to support this cause by connecting its community to organizations and brands that share in this belief. TPG is currently looking for an experienced revenue-generating and innovative individual to oversee and manage sponsorship sales around NYSPHSAA and NYSPHSAA Section VIII.

Located on Long Island, NY, the Associate General Manager will lead corporate sponsorship sales and fulfillment efforts around events organized by Section VIII, maintaining and enhancing relationships with both the Section VIII staff and its corporate partners and creating new opportunities for brands in the region to connect with the high school sports community.

This individual will also have sales and fulfillment responsibilities associated with TPG’s NYSPHSAA state association agreement, including driving additional revenue and managing activation at certain state championship events.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow sales for new and existing accounts having an effective pipeline and property management plan
  • Build creative marketing solutions for potential partners that add value and exceed the needs of all parties using traditional and non-traditional marketing channels to meet client’s objectives
  • Negotiate, structure and close partnership contracts delivering against company goals
  • Develop a strong understanding of key differentiators in the changing market landscape of high school sponsorship sales to create a unique product mix for clients
  • Collaborate with vendors, sponsors, partnership staff, and appropriate Section VIII and NYSPHSAA personnel to ensure implementation of sponsorships and contract fulfillment

General Manager, TAPPS

Description

TPG is currently looking for an experienced revenue-generating and innovative individual to oversee and manage the TAPPS sponsorship sales business.

Located in Fort Worth, TX, the General Manager will lead corporate sponsorship sales and fulfillment efforts around events organized by TAPPS, maintaining and enhancing relationships with both the TAPPS staff and its corporate partners and creating new opportunities for brands in the region to connect with the high school sports and extracurricular activities community.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build creative marketing solutions for potential partners that add value and exceed the needs of all parties using traditional, digital and other non-traditional marketing channels to meet client’s objectives

Located in Winston-Salem/Greensboro, NC the General Manager will lead corporate sponsorship sales and fulfillment efforts around schools and events organized by the school districts across the Winston-Salem/Greensboro market. The General Manager will create new opportunities for brands in Winston-Salem/Greensboro (and/or the region) to connect with the target markets that make up high school communities.

Partnership Services Coordinator

Description

The Teall Properties Group (TPG) division of Teall Capital Partners was created in 2018 to serve as the arm for the high school market. TPG believes in the high school student-athlete experience and how it positively shapes our next generation. TPG is currently looking for Partnership Services Coordinator in the Winston-Salem office.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with sponsorship meetings and bringing sponsorship visions to life
  • Lead client service, ideation, sales operations and activation efforts with multiple properties
  • Establish framework, office structure and assignment of duties including, but not limited to: client outreach initiatives, digital and social media coordination, client and property PR, graphic design, proposal/proof of performance/contract development, research, management and tracking of inventory, game-day/event activation and fulfillment oversight
  • Liaison between corporate partners and property staff when needed
  • Identify & concept ideas for existing & potential corporate partners

Reporting Manager

Description

Teall Properties Group (TPG) is a strategic marketing and sponsorship company that connects visionary brands with high school communities. TPG is an exclusive multi-media rights partner for national and state high school athletic and activity organizations across the nation. We deliver the leading marketing platform for brands to reach Gen-Z consumers alongside their families and communities. TPG is based out of Winston-Salem, NC.

Manage operational reporting, analysis, budgeting and forecasting for Teall Properties Group to further the growth and goals of each business and to contribute to the organization’s strategic goals. Responsible for creating, implementing and maintaining a system of regular reporting as required by contract as well as analysis needed to ensure effective operations of the business.  This position will report directly to the CFO and is an outstanding opportunity for an individual with operational experience and a proven track record of creative problem-solving and change management to join a high-growth, mission-driven organization and contributing to a culture of teamwork and quality.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage property/contract financial data, including but not limited to, identifying trends, correcting utilization, and addressing questions related to revenue recognition, gross margin and/or operating income.
  • Coordinate with the accounting, marketing and operations teams reporting needs related to revenue recognition, expenses and other KPIs.
  • Assist with the annual budget process as well as the quarterly forecasting process and any ad hoc forecasts, as needed.
  • Forecast, analyze and report on sales and financial performance metrics.
  • Responsible for monthly calls with the General Managers to review all financial aspects of their properties.
  • Assist and analyze with the development of proforma models and new property contracts.
  • Generate weekly and monthly financial and operational reports for each business, management, investors as well as quarterly board reports. Generate annual external financial statements.
  • Involved in validating/designing suggested changes to ensure contractual requirements are met timely and effectively.
  • Ensure coordination and timely payment of royalty payments with the accounts payable team.
  • Assist with commission reporting and payments to ensure transactional accuracy and enhance efficiency of the process.
  • Manages treasury functions including daily and weekly cash reporting.
  • Manage insurance policies and facilitate related activities.
  • Manage year-end tax return process for federal and state as well as tax forms and audits.
  • Assist in documenting policies and procedures and identifying areas of opportunity for improvement.
  • Assist in work relating to external audits in the periodic review of the company financial records relating to audit requests. Assist with the implementation of agreed upon recommendations, related to areas of responsibility, resulting from the audit findings.
  • Facilitate a culture of teamwork and excellence amongst the organization.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of Public Accounting and Private Industry accounting experience.
  • Undergraduate or master’s degree in accounting or business. CPA preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting. Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management and staff.
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical finance and operational initiatives.
